Change the given verbs into ‘Verb’ + ing’ forms and make sentences. One is done for you:

Fill in the blanks with Present Continuous Tense of the verbs given in brackets.

Make sentences in Present Continuous Tense using the following verbs.

1. I get up early in the morning from bed. (আমি সকালে খুব তাড়াতাড়ি ঘুম থেকে উঠি।)
2. I brush my teeth and then have my breakfast. (আমি দাঁত মেজে তারপর নাশতা করি।)
3. I read books for an hour. (আমি এক ঘণ্টা বই পড়ি।)

Ans: The donkey tumbled down the stream. (গাধাটি ঝর্ণায় পড়ে গিয়েছিল।)

Write a short story within six or seven sentences with the help of the hints given in the box:

Hints: hungry fox __ got into a vine yard ____ saw ripe grapes hanging high ___ jumped again and again to reach the grapes ____ missed ___ became sad ____ grapes are sour. 

English: One day, a hungry fox got into a vineyard.

Bengali: একদিন, একটি ক্ষুধার্ত শিয়াল একটি আঙুর বাগানে ঢুকল।

English: He saw ripe grapes hanging high.

Bengali: সে দেখল, পাকা আঙুর উঁচুতে ঝুলছে।

English: He jumped again and again to reach the grapes.
