Activity – 2
সব প্রাণীরা সিংহের কাছে একত্রিত হয়ে তাকে একটি পরিকল্পনা প্রস্তাব করল।
(ii) It was decided by all the animals that every day one animal would come to him so that he could eat that animal.
সব প্রাণী সিদ্ধান্ত নিল যে প্রতিদিন একটি প্রাণী তার কাছে আসবে যাতে সে সেই প্রাণীকে খেতে পারে।
(iii) There was another cruel lion in a deep well filled with water.
একটি গভীর কুয়ায় পানি ভর্তি ছিল এবং সেখানে আরেকটি নিষ্ঠুর সিংহ ছিল।
(iv) The lion was furious as the rabbit took much time to go to the lion.
খরগোশ সিংহের কাছে যেতে বেশি সময় নেওয়ায় সিংহ রেগে গিয়েছিল।
(v) The lion jumped into the well to attack the other lion.
সিংহ অন্য সিংহকে আক্রমণ করতে কুয়োতে ঝাঁপ দিল।
(vi) The rabbit saved the forest from the clutches of the greedy lion.

(i) How was the lion?
Ans: The lion was cruel and was very greedy.
উত্তর: সিংহ নিষ্ঠুর এবং খুব লোভী ছিল।
(ii) Where did the lion live?
Ans: The lion lived in a forest.
উত্তর: সিংহ একটি জঙ্গলে বসবাস করত।
(iii) What was decided by the animals?
Ans: The animals decided that every day one animal would come to him so that he could eat that animal.
উত্তর: প্রাণীরা সিদ্ধান্ত নিল যে প্রতিদিন একটি প্রাণী তার কাছে আসবে যাতে সে সেই প্রাণীকে খেতে পারে।

Ans: The lion ordered the rabbit to lead him to that well where another cruel animal lived.
উত্তর: সিংহ খরগোশকে আদেশ দিল যে তাকে সেই কুয়োতে নিয়ে যেতে যেখানে আরেকটি নিষ্ঠুর প্রাণী বাস করত।

Ans: In the water, the lion saw his own reflection.

খরগোশ খুব বুদ্ধিমান ছিল এবং সে জানত কিভাবে সিংহকে ভালো শিক্ষা দিতে হয়।
(ii) The greedy lion became angry when he did not get the rabbit in time to eat.
লোভী সিংহ রেগে গেল যখন সে সময়মতো খরগোশ পেল না।

তৃষ্ণার্ত কাক
One day a crow was thirsty. He was looking for water here and there. Suddenly, he saw a pitcher and flew there. But he saw there was very little water in it. So, he began to think of a plan. He saw some pebbles nearby. He picked the pebbles one by one and put them into the pitcher. As a result, the level of water rose above, and the crow drank the water from it. At last, he quenched his thirst and flew away.
একদিন একটি কাক খুব তৃষ্ণার্ত ছিল। সে এখানে-সেখানে পানি খুঁজছিল। হঠাৎ সে একটি কলস দেখতে পেল এবং সেখানে উড়ে গেল। কিন্তু সে দেখল যে তাতে খুব অল্প পানি আছে। তাই সে একটি পরিকল্পনা ভাবতে লাগল। সে আশেপাশে কিছু কঙ্কর দেখতে পেল। সে একে একে কঙ্কর তুলে কলসে ফেলল। ফলে পানির স্তর উপরে উঠল, এবং কাকটি সেই পানি পান করল। অবশেষে, সে তার তৃষ্ণা মিটিয়ে উড়ে গেল।

Write a short story using the following points in about sentences. Try to give a title.
নিম্নলিখিত পয়েন্ট ব্যবহার করে একটি ছোট গল্প লিখুন। একটি শিরোনাম দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করুন।
A Dog and a Donkey
একটি কুকুর এবং একটি গাধা
Once upon a time, a dog and a donkey were travelling together. The donkey was carrying a basket of bread on its back. Suddenly both the dog and the donkey felt hungry. The donkey began to eat grass on the roadside. But the dog did not eat grass. So, he asked the donkey for a piece of bread. But the donkey refused to give bread to the dog. All at once a wolf appeared in front of him. The donkey became frightened and requested the dog to stand by him. But the dog refused. So, the old wolf killed the donkey and ate its flesh.
এক সময়, একটি কুকুর এবং একটি গাধা একসাথে ভ্রমণ করছিল। গাধার পিঠে একটি রুটির ঝুড়ি ছিল। হঠাৎ কুকুর এবং গাধা দুজনেই ক্ষুধার্ত হয়ে পড়ল। গাধা রাস্তার পাশে ঘাস খেতে লাগল। কিন্তু কুকুর ঘাস খেত না। তাই সে গাধাকে একটু রুটি চাইলো। কিন্তু গাধা কুকুরকে রুটি দিতে অস্বীকার করল। হঠাৎ এক নেকড়ে সামনে হাজির হল। গাধা ভয় পেয়ে কুকুরকে তার পাশে থাকার অনুরোধ করল। কিন্তু কুকুর অস্বীকার করল। ফলে নেকড়ে গাধাকে মেরে তার মাংস খেয়ে ফেলল।

Jackal and the Dogs | শিয়াল এবং কুকুর
Once upon a time, a jackal came into the city looking for food. | একদিন একটি শিয়াল খাবারের সন্ধানে শহরে ঢুকল।
Suddenly, some dogs chased him. | হঠাৎ কিছু কুকুর তাকে তাড়া করল।
So, the jackal ran away and fell into an indigo pot. | তাই শিয়ালটি পালিয়ে গিয়ে একটি নীল রঙের পাত্রে পড়ে গেল।
Then the jackal’s body colour changed into indigo colour. | তখন শিয়ালের শরীরের রঙ নীল হয়ে গেল।
The jackal, surprised at its look, wanted to take advantage of his colour. | শিয়ালটি তার নতুন রঙ দেখে অবাক হয়ে গেল এবং এটি ব্যবহার করতে চাইল।
